Nandini Matiyani Appointed Group CHRO at Strides

Strides Pharma Science Ltd. has elevated Nandini Matiyani to Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) from her most recent role as Executive Vice President and Global HR Head.

In her new role, Nandini will lead the global HR function across multiple geographies, focusing on talent management, leadership development, organisational culture, employee experience and workforce capabilities to support the company’s international operations.

Extensive Experience

Nandini brings over two decades of experience in human resources across the pharmaceutical, technology and SaaS industries. She joined Strides in December 2025 as Executive Vice President and Global HR Head before taking up the Group CHRO role.

Before Strides, she worked at RateGain as Vice President – People and Culture for over two years. She was responsible for the APMEA region and corporate HR, covering workforce management, HR business partnering, competency development and employee engagement.

She also introduced AI-enabled HR practices and worked on employer branding and organisational values.

Earlier, Nandini spent over seven years at Wipro as Vice President and Global HR Business Partner, handling HR for its Technology, Infrastructure Services, and Media and Telecom business units. Her responsibilities included employee retention, workforce planning, leadership engagement, and HR performance.

She previously served as Vice President and Global HR Head at OnMobile Global for about two years, managing global HR operations, leadership hiring, talent management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and HR automation.

Before that, she worked at Wipro for over six years as General Manager, Human Resources and Head – Group HR for India and the Middle East.

Nandini holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Surat and a Diploma in International Business from the Symbiosis Institute of International Business.
