Mayank Jain Appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Magicbricks

Magicbricks has appointed Mayank Jain as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2026. He joins the property platform from CarDekho Group, where he served as CEO of Auto Classifieds for more than five years.

Extensive Experience

Mayank brings over two decades of leadership experience across digital, media, technology and consumer businesses. At CarDekho Group, he led the expansion of its Auto Classifieds business, focusing on profitability, artificial intelligence adoption and international markets.

Before joining CarDekho, he served as CEO of the Hindi News cluster at Network18, overseeing seven news channels, including News18 India. He has also held leadership positions at Disney Star, BT Group, Samsung and HT Media.

His experience spans sales, marketing, product, strategy and profit-and-loss management, with a focus on business growth and digital operations.

Priorities at Magicbricks

At Magicbricks, Mayank will focus on business growth, technology-led innovation, operational and financial performance, and improving the consumer experience. His appointment comes as digital property platforms continue to expand their technology capabilities and services for homebuyers, sellers and other real estate stakeholders.

He will be based at the company’s Noida office and report to N. Subramanian, Executive Director and Group CEO of The Times Group.

Mayank holds an MBA from INSEAD, a PGDM from the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, and a degree in Computer Engineering. He has been recognised among IMPACT’s 40 Under 40 and serves as guest faculty at the Centre for Entrepreneurship at Ashoka University.
