Valentine Sequeira Appointed Director – People Consulting at EY

Valentine Sequeira has been elevated as Director – People Consulting at EY. Based in Bengaluru, he brings experience in HR consulting, organisation design and talent management.

In his new role, Valentine will work on people consulting assignments, drawing on his experience in HR transformation, workforce productivity, organisation design, HR process digitisation, leadership development and change management.

Extensive Experience

Before his appointment as Director, Valentine worked as Senior Manager – People Consulting at EY, where he handled HR transformation, workforce productivity improvement, organisation design, HR due diligence and post-merger integration assignments. His work covered banking, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and other sectors.

Before joining EY, he spent over six years at PwC India, progressing through consulting roles in People & Organisation and Workforce Advisory. His last position was Associate Director – Management Consulting (Workforce Advisory).

He worked with clients across banking, FMCG, automotive, energy and diversified conglomerates on organisation restructuring, workforce optimisation, HR shared services, job evaluation and succession management.

Earlier, Valentine spent three years at Mahindra & Mahindra as Head – Talent Management, Group Human Resources. He worked on succession planning, leadership development, talent reviews and HR automation. He also served as Executive Assistant to the CHRO.

He began his career at Mahindra & Mahindra in 2008 as Assistant Manager – HR, working on recruitment, succession planning and employee engagement.

He also worked briefly at Edelweiss Financial Services in business development and completed a summer internship at Siemens India.
