Hamsaz Vasunia Wadhwani Joins Vastu Housing Finance as CHRO

Vastu Housing Finance Corporation Ltd. has appointed Hamsaz Vasunia Wadhwani as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In her new role, Hamsaz will lead the company’s human resources function. Her experience covers business HR, talent management, recruitment, training, performance and rewards, employee engagement, and organisational culture.

Extensive Experience

Before joining Vastu Housing Finance, Hamsaz served as Chief Executive at The 7th Fold for over six years. She worked with individuals, teams and organisations on culture, performance, employee happiness and HR capability. She also provided shared CHRO services to startups and small and mid-sized companies.

Earlier, she spent over 10 years at DCB Bank as Head of HR & Training. Her responsibilities included business HR, recruitment, talent management, training, HR relationship management, performance management and rewards across the country. This role gave her extensive experience in human resources within the banking sector.

Before DCB Bank, Hamsaz worked at EmmayHR Services as Associate Director for over five years. She led executive search assignments across India, focusing on senior management and CXO-level hiring for companies in the services and manufacturing sectors.

She began her career at WNS Global Services, where she worked as a Team Leader for nearly four years. Her career spans human resources leadership, executive search and employee development across banking, business services and HR consulting.

Hamsaz holds a Master of Science degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Bristol, which she completed in 2019.

She also holds a Diploma in Human Resources from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).
