Himanshu Bhardwaj Appointed Head APAC – BOS at IBM

Himanshu Bhardwaj has joined IBM as Head APAC – Business Orchestration Services (BOS), based in Gurugram, Haryana, according to his LinkedIn profile.

In his new role, Himanshu will lead Business Orchestration Services across the Asia-Pacific region, with responsibilities covering business strategy, go-to-market plans, regional growth, market expansion, commercial performance, partnerships and operational excellence.

Extensive Experience

Himanshu joined IBM after more than 11 years at WNS Global Services, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President and Business Unit Head.

He led the Hi-Tech and Professional Services business unit from August 2023, following earlier responsibility for the Manufacturing, Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods sectors. His role included financial management, operations, business development, revenue growth and profitability.

Before this, Himanshu served as Global Head of Solutions at WNS for nearly three years, focusing on strategy consulting and corporate strategy.

He spent nearly eight years at DXC Technology and its predecessor Xchanging, holding roles including Enterprise Sector – Senior Vice President, Head – Service and Solutions, and Chief Manager.

His responsibilities covered sales, account management, service delivery, business development, client relationships, contracts and change management across enterprise services, insurance, securities processing and procurement.

Earlier, Himanshu worked for seven years at FedEx Express in global sales and solutions, managing global accounts, solution sales, project management and bid management. He began his career in sales, marketing and business development at SITL and Bartronics India Ltd.

Himanshu holds an MBA in Information Technology and Marketing from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management. He also completed an advanced management programme through the Indian School of Business and Kellogg School of Management.
