Wipro Appoints Angan Guha as President and CEO of Americas 2

Wipro Limited has appointed Angan Guha as President and Chief Executive Officer of its Americas 2 Strategic Market Unit, effective December 8, 2026. He will report to Srini Pallia, CEO and Managing Director of Wipro, and become a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.

In his new role, Angan will focus on strengthening Wipro’s business across the Americas 2 market, with particular attention to the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Energy and Utilities, and Manufacturing sectors.

His responsibilities will include accelerating business growth, strengthening client relationships and expanding the value delivered to clients across the region.

Announcing the appointment, Srini Pallia said, “We are delighted to welcome Angan to Wipro’s leadership team. His experience in driving business growth, combined with his focus on innovation and execution, will be valuable as we strengthen our Americas business.”

He added that Angan’s leadership would help the company accelerate growth, deepen client relationships and deliver greater value to clients.

Commenting on his appointment, Angan Guha said he was excited to rejoin Wipro at a time when the evolving AI landscape is creating new opportunities for businesses.

He added that he looks forward to working with Wipro’s teams and helping clients navigate changes, achieve business outcomes and build on the company’s consulting and technology capabilities.

Angan Guha’s Experience

Angan Guha brings more than three decades of experience in the technology and business services industry, with expertise in business growth, digital transformation and client management.

Before joining Wipro, he served as Global CEO and Managing Director of Birlasoft Limited. He previously spent more than 28 years at Wipro, where he held several senior leadership positions.

His earlier responsibilities included leading the Americas 2 Business Unit as its CEO and serving as a member of Wipro’s Leadership Team. His return to Wipro brings him back to a business and leadership structure with which he has extensive experience.

Angan holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Pune. He has also completed management programmes at the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago.
