Svarn Group Appoints Deepak Kumar Sharma as VP- HR

Svarn Group has appointed Deepak Kumar Sharma as Vice President – Human Resources, Experience, starting March 2026.

In this role, he will lead the company’s people plans, with a focus on employee experience, talent growth, and the use of digital tools in HR across the business.

Extensive Experience

Deepak brings close to 20 years of experience in HR leadership, mainly in the manufacturing and automotive sectors.

Before joining Svarn Group, he worked at VEEGEE Automotive Pvt Ltd as DGM – Corporate HR Head. There, he managed key HR functions and helped improve team strength and structure.

Earlier, he spent more than four years at Victora Auto Private Ltd. In this time, he held roles such as AGM and Senior Manager – Corporate HR. He worked closely with business leaders to shape HR plans across 22 plants, covering a workforce of over 8,500 employees.

He led the rollout of ZING HRMS, which helped provide real-time data and insights. He also introduced a new performance system that raised productivity metrics by 20%. In addition, he handled hiring for senior roles and led retention efforts that cut attrition by 12%.

At the start of his career, Deepak worked with Yokohama India, where he handled HR work across offices, plants, and a wide sales network.

He also held roles at JBM Group, Sanden Vikas India Pvt Ltd, and Elofic Industries Ltd. Over the years, he built strong skills in HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement.

Deepak holds a Master’s degree in HRM from DDU Connect.
