CEAT Limited Appoints Rahul Gama as SVP – Human Resources

CEAT Limited, a leading tyre maker in India, has appointed Rahul Gama as Senior Vice President – Human Resources, effective January 15, 2026.

In this role, he will lead the company’s people plans, leadership programs, workforce planning, and talent efforts. His focus will be to support business goals and long-term growth.

Extensive Experience

Rahul Gama brings 28 years of leadership experience across South-East Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the United States, Latin America, and India.

He has worked across FMCG, services, luxury retail, and manufacturing, and has also spent time in consulting. This background gives him a broad view of human resources work.

During his career, Rahul has led major change efforts, handled mergers and acquisitions, supported start-ups, and guided HR teams through high-growth phases. He has managed large HR teams spread across regions, supporting more than 10,000 employees from over 24 nationalities across four continents.

Before joining CEAT Limited, Rahul was Chief Human Resources Officer at Pidilite Industries Limited. Earlier, he spent close to 14 years with the Godrej Group in senior HR leadership roles. He has also worked with Sara Lee, Marico Limited, and Arvind Limited.

Rahul holds a Master’s degree in HR from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, and a Diploma in Labour Law from Symbiosis Law School, Pune.
