Dabur India Appoints Herjit S Bhalla as CEO for India Business

Home-grown fast-moving consumer goods major Dabur India Limited has announced the appointment of Herjit S Bhalla as Chief Executive Officer for its India business operations, effective April 23, 2026.
In his new role, Herjit will lead Dabur’s India business strategy and operations and will report to Mohit Malhotra, Whole-time Director and Global Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Extensive Experience
Herjit joins Dabur from The Hershey Company, where he most recently served as Vice President – Canada & Global Customers. During his tenure at Hershey, he held multiple leadership roles across geographies, including overseeing operations across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and Canada, with a strong focus on driving growth and expanding market presence.
With over two decades of experience in the FMCG and retail sectors, Herjit has held senior leadership positions across globally recognized organizations. Prior to Hershey, he served as Managing Director – India at METRO Cash & Carry and also worked as Chief Operating Officer for North & East at METRO Cash & Carry India Private Limited.
A significant part of his career was spent at Hindustan Unilever Limited, where he worked for over 16 years across sales, marketing, and customer development roles in India and international markets, including Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus.

During his tenure, he led large teams, managed multi-brand portfolios, and played a key role in driving market share gains and business transformation initiatives.
Herjit holds postgraduate management degree from MDI Gurgaon and B.Com from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.
