Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Appoints Merrill Pereyra as CEO

Domino’s Pizza Enterprises (DPE) has appointed Merrill Pereyra as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Pereyra has worked in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) sector for more than 30 years. In this new role, he will lead the business across Australia and New Zealand, the company’s largest markets.

Pereyra confirmed the news in a LinkedIn post, saying he is pleased to begin his new role as CEO at Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Limited. His appointment comes as the company continues to focus on improving store performance, supporting franchise partners, and driving steady growth in the region.

Extensive Experience

As CEO, Pereyra is responsible for sales, profit, and day-to-day operations. He will also work closely with franchisees and oversee the brand’s direction across more than 880 stores in Australia and New Zealand. Sustainability efforts will remain a key focus under his leadership.

Before taking on the role, Pereyra worked as an advisor across the Asia-Pacific region. In that role, he supported boards, investors, and operators on acquisitions, leadership planning, and business growth within the quick-service restaurant sector.

Pereyra brings broad international experience to the position. He previously served as Managing Director of Pizza Hut at Yum! Brands, overseeing markets including India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, and the Maldives.

He has also held CEO roles at Domino’s Pizza Indonesia and QSR Brands, along with senior leadership roles across Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East during his time at McDonald’s.

With this background, Pereyra steps into the role as Domino’s Pizza Enterprises continues its focus on long-term performance and regional growth.
