Dr. Reddy’s elevates Manish Shukla as Global Head HR- Corporate

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories has elevated Manish Shukla to Global Head, HR – Corporate, and Head, HR Strategy.

In his new role, Manish will drive enterprise-wide HR strategy, lead global capability-building initiatives, and collaborate closely with CXOs and senior leaders across functions and geographies to strengthen workforce effectiveness.

He will also oversee key HR projects and board-related matters, ensuring talent priorities align with organisational goals and long-term growth.

Extensive Experience

Manish joined Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories in 2023. In his over two-year journey with successive elevations, he has demonstrated a strong track record of delivering business results through people-centric practices and organisational capability building.

Before joining Dr. Reddy’s, Manish held senior roles at ITC, Samsung Electronics, and Tata Advanced Systems, where he led HR for large, complex businesses and drove strategic initiatives in talent management, engagement, sustainability, compensation, and performance.

At ITC, he supported a conglomerate of nearly 30,000 employees through structural optimisation and high-impact engagement and sustainability programmes, while at Samsung, he was recognised as the fastest-promoted HR manager, managing high-revenue regions with industry-leading retention.

Earlier at Tata Advanced Systems, he built multiple Centres of Excellence and pioneered talent, rewards, and performance frameworks that created a future-ready workforce.

He holds an MBA in Human Resources from MDI Gurgaon and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from BITS Pilani, and is also an avid basketball player who brings a team-oriented mindset to his leadership style.
