Duroflex Group Appoints Arkadeb Chakraborty as Chief HR Officer

Duroflex Group, a sleep solutions brand, has appointed Arkadeb Chakraborty as Chief Human Resources Officer.

In this role, he will oversee all human resources functions, including leadership development, people plans, and company-wide change as the company moves into its next phase of growth.

Commenting on the appointment, Sridhar Balakrishnan, CEO of Duroflex Group, said Arkadeb Chakraborty’s strong business focus and people expertise will be key in building culture, strengthening talent, and preparing the organization as the company grows.

Extensive Experience

Arkadeb brings more than 16 years of experience across business and HR roles. He is known for building people systems that can grow with the business, leading large-scale change efforts, and working closely with senior leaders to support steady growth.

His background combines deep HR knowledge with hands-on business work. He has worked with Escorts Group, ICICI Bank, Ruchi Soya, Godrej Group, and Darwinbox.

Before joining Duroflex Group, in his most recent role at Darwinbox, he moved into a core business position as Director – Customer Success, where he managed a P&L of over $6 million and led HR technology change programs for more than 130 organizations worldwide.

Earlier, as CHRO at Capital Foods, he worked with leaders and investors to manage key M&A integrations and maintain business stability. At Godrej Group, he handled a wide range of roles across HR systems, sales support, and factory HR and labor relations.

He earned a Master of Human Resource Management from IISWBM between 2007 and 2009. He also holds a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics from Siddaganga Institute of Technology, completed in 2007.
