Ebix Group Appoints Arun Batra as Managing Director, Ebix Travels

Ebix Group has announced the appointment of Arun Batra as Managing Director of Ebix Travels, reinforcing leadership across its travel and mobility portfolio as the Group sharpens its focus on growth, integration, and execution.

In his new role, Arun Batra will lead Ebix’s travel and mobility businesses across domestic and international markets, with responsibility for overall performance, governance, and long-term value creation.

His mandate includes driving stronger alignment across Ebix’s travel businesses, deepening strategic partnerships, and refining customer offerings as the Group builds a more integrated, execution-driven travel platform.

Extensive Experience

With over three decades of leadership experience spanning fintech, telecommunications, retail, media, and services, Batra brings a proven track record in scaling businesses, building robust distribution networks, and managing large-scale operations in complex and competitive environments.

He has previously held senior leadership and CXO roles at HCL, Vodafone, Brightstar Corporation (USA), Reliance Infocomm, Zee Networks, and Matrix Cellular.
