EXL Appoints Seepika Singhal as VP & India Head – Total Rewards

EXL, a leading data analytics and digital operations company, has appointed Seepika Singhal as Vice President and India Head – Total Rewards.

Announcing the move on social media, Singhal shared her enthusiasm for beginning a new chapter at EXL, where she will lead India Compensation & Benefits and help build scalable, equitable, and future-ready rewards frameworks.

She has been focused on transforming Total Rewards into a strategic engine for growth and trust by integrating fairness, analytics, and employee well-being into how organizations create value through people.

Her next horizon of HR leadership lies in convergence—where Total Rewards, DE&I, and Employee Experience operate as one ecosystem to drive culture, performance, and purpose.

Her perspective aligns with the evolving CHRO agenda of making work equitable, data-intelligent, and deeply human.

Extensive Experience

She brings over 2 decades of experience in human resources. Before joining EXL, Seepika Singhal served as Global Head – Total Rewards at Brillio for over three years.

During her tenure at Brillio, she built and scaled the Total Rewards Center of Excellence and led a global transformation focused on trust, inclusion, and sustainable growth. Her work included establishing fair, data-led pay review programs; harmonizing benefits globally; and personalizing India benefits with gender- and generation-specific choices.

She also implemented a fully flexible insurance benefits program for India, revamped recognition and variable pay designs, stabilized rewards during M&A integrations, and launched global long-term incentive and equity plans—creating a transparent, scalable, and trusted rewards ecosystem.

Earlier in her career, Singhal held HR leadership roles at R1 RCM, HT Media, Luminous Power Technologies, Capgemini, HCL, and Jakson Group, bringing her deep cross-industry expertise in compensation strategy and people transformation.

She holds a PG Diploma from SRCC in Global Business Operations, Marketing and HR, and a BA (Hons.) in Political Science from Daulat Ram College, Delhi University.
