The Coca-Cola Company Appoints Tapaswee Chandele as Global Chief People Officer

The Coca-Cola Company has named Tapaswee Chandele as its new Global Chief People Officer, starting May 1. She will take over from Lisa Chang, who is stepping down after seven years in the role.
Tapaswee Chandele’s Experience
Currently, Tapaswee is working as Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff to President and CFO John Murphy, a role she has held since May 2025.
Before that, she led global talent, development, and HR system partnerships from 2019 to 2025. In that role, she helped shape the company’s global talent strategy and worked as part of Chang’s leadership team.
She joined Coca-Cola in 2001 in India and has over 20 years of experience in human resources and talent development. Her career includes work in Türkiye, South Africa, and the United States, where she moved in 2017. She also serves on the board of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages and is on the board of Agnes Scott College in Georgia.
Tapaswee holds an MBA in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.
She also has a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Clinical Nutrition from Seth G.S. Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital and a Bachelor of Science from Sophia College for Women. In her new role, she will report to CEO Henrique Braun.
About Lisa Chang
Lisa Chang will stay with the company until the end of 2026 as a Senior Advisor. She will also continue her work with The Coca-Cola Foundation.
Before joining Coca-Cola in 2019, she was Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at AMB Group LLC, where she led HR across businesses including AMB Sports & Entertainment and the Atlanta Falcons.

She has also held senior HR roles at Equifax, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., and The Weather Channel Companies. She serves on the board of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and has been part of boards such as Frontier Communications, Catalyst, Inc., and the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation.
