GlobalLogic Appoints Vikas Kaul as Chief People Officer

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company and a leading digital engineering partner, has appointed Vikas Kaul as Chief People Officer (CPO).

In this role, he will lead the company’s global people and culture agenda, aligning talent strategy with growth priorities and advancing its transformation into an AI-powered digital engineering organization.

Vikas will focus on building a high-performance, inclusive culture, driving strategic talent development, and championing workforce innovation, while strengthening GlobalLogic’s position as an employer of choice for top global digital and engineering talent.

Extensive Experience and Background

With over 25 years of experience in HR and business leadership, Vikas brings deep expertise in building scalable people strategies across complex, global enterprises.

He has spent more than 15 years in senior executive leadership roles within the Hitachi Group, where he played a critical role in driving organizational transformation, strengthening leadership capability, and embedding high-performance cultures across diverse geographies.

Prior to joining Hitachi, Vikas has worked with organizations such as IBM, Emageon, Amar Ujala Publications Ltd., and Millennium Consultants, gaining broad exposure across technology, media, and consulting environments.

He holds a Post Graduate Programme in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PGPMIR) from XLRI Jamshedpur, one of India’s premier management institutions.
