Kwality Wall’s (India) gets Sonali as HR Head post-HUL demerger
Kwality Wall’s (India) Limited (KWIL) appoints Sonali Rajpurohit as its HR Head, after demerger from Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL).
In her new role, Sonali will drive KWIL’s people and culture agenda, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, HR business partnering, and building scalable people practices aligned with business growth and priorities.
Working closely with the leadership team, she will play a pivotal role in establishing a strong organisational foundation and defining KWIL’s distinct culture in its next phase of growth.
Extensive Experience
Prior to joining KWIL, Sonali was with Unilever, where she served in HR leadership roles for nearly two years. Most recently, she was HR Lead – Ice Cream, India, a role closely aligned with the business that is now operating independently as KWIL.
Before that, she worked as Lead – Talent Management, South Asia, driving regional talent initiatives and leadership development across markets.
Sonali brings rich HR leadership experience from a range of organisations, including udaan.com, Reliance Industries Limited, and AkzoNobel, spanning both large enterprises and high-growth environments.
Her career reflects a strong track record of partnering with business leaders on workforce strategy, organisational effectiveness, and culture building.
An alumna of XLRI Jamshedpur, Sonali holds an MBA in Human Resource Management.
She is known for combining strong academic grounding with hands-on expertise in leadership capability building and delivering impactful people strategies across diverse business contexts.
