Nestlé India Appoints Nitu Bhushan as Head- Human Resources

Nestlé India appoints Nitu Bhushan as its new Head – Human Resources, effective March 2, 2026, the company said in a BSE filing dated December 10.
She will take over from Anurag Patnaik, who will step down on December 31, 2025. Patnaik has spent more than 20 years at Nestlé India. He joined in 2005 as a management trainee and became Head of HR in February 2021.
Nitu brings over two decades of HR experience across consumer goods, pharma, banking, and technology. Most recently, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Pernod Ricard India for over four years.
Her earlier roles include senior HR positions at Accenture, Asian Paints, HSBC Bank, Mondelez International, and Abbott.
She holds a master’s degree in Personnel Management and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication.
Other Senior Leadership Changes
Nitu’s appointment is part of a wider set of senior changes planned over the next 15 months.
Chief Financial Officer Svetlana Boldina will step down on January 31, 2026, to move into a new role within a Nestlé group company. Her replacement has not yet been named.
Satish Srinivasan, Executive Director – Technical, will retire on May 31, 2026. Jagdeep Singh Marahar will succeed him as Whole-Time Director and Head of Technical from June 1, 2026. Marahar is currently Managing Director of Nestlé R&D Centre India and has nearly 29 years of experience within the Nestlé group.
Venkateswaran T.S., General Counsel and Head of Legal & Compliance, will also retire after more than 30 years in corporate law and regulatory roles. Earlier, in November, Sanjay Bahadur, Executive Vice President and Head of Group Strategy and Business Development, retired.
