Paras Health Appoints Balkishan Sharma as CHRO & BTO

Paras Health has appointed Balkishan Sharma as Chief Human Resources & Business Transformation Officer at its Gurugram headquarters, effective February 2026.

In this role, he will lead people strategy and company-wide change efforts as the hospital network advances its growth and operating plans.

Extensive Experience

Balkishan brings over 18 years of experience in healthcare HR. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Head – HR Operations at Max Healthcare Institute Ltd.. He led HR operations across eight hospitals with about 2,100 beds. These facilities generated nearly ₹3,000 crore in annual revenue and employed close to 10,000 people.

He managed workforce planning, change programs, leadership hiring, performance systems, employee engagement, and culture initiatives.

Earlier, he held senior HR roles at BLK Super Speciality Hospital and Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, overseeing HR operations for multi-specialty units in Delhi, Dehradun, Raipur, Raigarh, and Jaipur.

In a previous stint at Paras Healthcare, Gurgaon, he handled manpower planning, compliance, compensation design, and performance systems.

Balkishan earned an MBA in Human Resources from Madurai Kamaraj University and completed the Max Leadership Development Programme at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
