Pidilite Industries Appoints Ashish Prasad as CHRO

Pidilite Industries has announced the appointment of Ashish Prasad as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

The appointment follows the resignation of current CHRO Rahul Gama, who will remain with the company until January 31, 2026, to facilitate a smooth handover.

Gama, who resigned on 11 November 2025, is leaving to explore new professional opportunities after a long tenure with the adhesives and specialty chemicals major.

Professional Background

Prasad brings nearly 28 years of diverse experience across sales, brand management, operations, digital transformation, and strategy—skills that are expected to add depth to the company’s talent and organisation-building agenda.

Before joining Pidilite, Ashish Prasad served as Chief Executive Officer at Sintex BAPL, a part of the Welspun Group.

His previous leadership roles include Senior Vice President at Ashirvad Pipes, alongside tenure at several prominent organisations such as Asian Paints, Teamlease Services, Holcim India–ACC, Madura Garments Lifestyle Retail Company, Aditya Birla Group, Ashirvad Pipes, The Coca-Cola Company, etc.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, Prasad also has earlier work experience with Pidilite between 2011 to 2018, providing him with valuable insights into the company’s culture and operational dynamics.
