Sakshee Sud joins Starbucks India as People Director & Head- HR

Starbucks India has appointed Sakshee Sud as People Director and Head – Human Resources. In this new role, she will sharpen the organisation’s people and culture agenda as it accelerates expansion in India.

Commenting on LinkedIn, Sakshee expressed her excitement about joining #StarbucksIndia as People Director & Head – HR. She thanked Beiersdorf for a rewarding chapter filled with rich learning, impact, and meaningful partnerships.

Stepping into her new assignment, she said, “As I begin my new role, I’m excited to strengthen the partner experience through the conversations we nurture, the decisions we make, and the moments we create together.”

Extensive experience

Sakshee joins Starbucks India from Beiersdorf after more than three years, where she was working as Director & Head – Human Resources for India and global corporate functions, while leading talent development, leadership programs, and DEI initiatives.

With almost 15 years of HR experience, her career includes stints in Infosys as Business Partner – HR, ICICI Bank in L&D, Vodafone India in corporate HR, six years at MSD as Senior HR Business Partner, and CK Birla Group as Group Talent Lead.

Sakshee Sud earned her MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune (2008–2010), where she gained strong management and HR skills.

She also holds a B. Tech in Electronics from National Institute of Technology Surat (2003–2007), which provided her with a solid technical foundation.
