Sekhmet Pharmaventures Appoints Jitendra Jalan as CHRO

Jitendra Jalan has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Sekhmet Pharmaventures.
In his new role, he will be responsible for shaping the overall people agenda, strengthening organizational capability, and supporting Sekhmet Pharmaventures’ long-term vision through robust talent and culture initiatives.
Extensive Experience
He boasts over two decades of HR experience with a distinguished career spanning multiple industries. Jitendra brings deep expertise in building people-centric strategies, leading complex transformations, and aligning HR practices with business growth.
Prior to joining Sekhmet Pharmaventures, Jitendra served as Vice President – Human Resources at USV Private Limited, where he led HR operations for eight manufacturing plants along with corporate talent acquisition.
Supporting a workforce of nearly 4,000 employees, he played a pivotal role in strategic HR, employee relations, workforce planning, and managing large-scale people operations.
His tenure at USV, a leading Indian pharmaceutical and consumer products company with a strong global footprint, was marked by enhanced HR governance and operational excellence.
Earlier, Jitendra held the position of General Manager – HR at ACC Limited (Holcim Group), where he spearheaded complex change management and restructuring initiatives across 35 locations.
This included leading HR transformation efforts at one of the world’s largest cement plants. His career also includes impactful roles at Endress+Hauser Group, where he drove performance-oriented culture transformation in India, and Astral Glass Private Limited, handling HR leadership and executive support responsibilities.
Certified as SHRM-SCP and ICF ACC, Jitendra combines strategic HR leadership with coaching expertise.
