Vedanta Appoints Pallavi Bhatia as CHRO – Alumina Business

Vedanta Limited has appointed Pallavi Bhatia as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for its Alumina Business, strengthening its leadership team in this key area.

In this role, Pallavi will lead people strategy, manage talent programs, and improve workforce performance to support the company’s focus on people-led growth.

Extensive Experience

Pallavi has close to 20 years of HR experience across manufacturing, consulting, and FMCG. In this role, she will lead people strategy, talent development, and overall workforce performance for Vedanta’s alumina operations.

Before this, Pallavi worked as Regional Human Resources Manager at Pernod Ricard, where she managed HR work across regions. She also served as Head of Human Resources at Minova Runaya, where she helped shape HR plans and team growth.

Earlier in her career, she held roles at Goodyear India Limited and ATG Tire, working on hiring, onboarding, and employee management. She also spent more than four years at Cavendish Industries Ltd, focusing on HR and industrial relations in plant operations.

She started her career at Aryan HR Consulting Pvt Ltd, where she handled senior hiring for companies like Adani Group, Tata Motors, and Hero Honda. She also worked early on with Saraswati Dynamics Pvt Ltd and Bharti Airtel.

Pallavi holds an MBA in HR and Marketing from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University and a BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics from Kurukshetra University.
