Suzlon Group Appoints Kamesh Chaganti as Head-HR, South India

Suzlon Group has appointed Kamesh Chaganti as Head – Human Resources for its South India business.

In this role, Kamesh will oversee HR strategies across Suzlon’s South India units, covering talent growth, HR support for business teams, pay and benefits, team development, and employment law.

He will also focus on building steady people practices that support the company’s growth in the renewable energy sector, with added attention on hiring quality talent, improving team support, and creating smoother workplace processes for long-term stability.

Extensive Experience

With more than twenty years of HR experience across media, technology, and engineering, Kamesh Chaganti brings a strong record of leading large teams across many locations.

He spent 14 years at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited as General Manager and Head of Human Resources, where he led leadership development, workforce planning, and capability-building efforts.

His earlier work includes contributing to global HR operations at Tech Mahindra in the HR Americas division, and starting his career at Navya Engineers & Equipment.

His roles at Zee Network, MAA (a division of Star India), Tech Mahindra, and Navya Engineers have given him the skills to build steady HR frameworks and guide people practices across complex company structures.

He earned an MBA in HR and Marketing from Delhi University in 2004, after completing a BBM in Business Administration and Management from Andhra University during his early academic years.
