Tata Steel, a leading global steel producer, has elevated Paromita Roy as Global Lead – HR Strategy, Culture & Digital.
In her new role, Roy will spearhead the company’s global HR strategic agenda, fostering a unified organizational culture and driving digital transformation across Tata Steel’s global operations.

Extensive Experience
A seasoned HR professional, Paromita brings extensive experience across compensation, benefits, indirect taxation, statutory compliance, global mobility, and labor relations.
Over the past decade, she has worked in global teams, partnering with top executives to implement innovative solutions, optimize costs, and drive workforce engagement. Her expertise also spans leadership development, talent management, and workforce planning.
Paromita has been associated with Tata Steel for 16 years, holding multiple leadership roles, most recently as Head – Leadership & Talent Development. Prior to joining Tata Steel, she worked with Wipro Technology.
She holds an MBA in HR from XISS Ranchi and a certification from Carnegie Mellon University – Tepper School of Business (Nov 2024).
