TCS elevates Prerna Sinha as Head – HR, Cyber Security Business Group

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has elevated Prerna Sinha as Head – Human Resources for its Cyber Security Business Group, effective November 2025.

Based in Pune, Maharashtra, Prerna takes on the role after nearly 19 years with the company, marking another key leadership transition within TCS’s people function as it strengthens its fast-growing cyber security business.

In her new position, she will lead the HR strategy for the Cyber Security Business Group, focusing on talent, capability building, leadership development, and workforce readiness in a domain that is increasingly critical to clients worldwide. Her appointment underscores TCS’s emphasis on aligning people strategy with emerging technology-led business priorities.

Extensive Experience

Prerna brings deep institutional knowledge and a strong track record across multiple HR leadership roles at TCS. Most recently, she served as HR Head for the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) Business Units from September 2021 to November 2025.

Prior to that, she served as Head of HR for the Manufacturing & Utilities Business Unit from December 2018 to September 2021.

Earlier in her career, she led Experienced Professionals Hiring for India and the Pune region, where she played a pivotal role in setting up and scaling recruitment processes, systems, and procedures across PAN India. Her experience spans high-volume and niche hiring, translating business strategy into talent acquisition plans, and working with diverse teams across markets and industries.

Prerna began her journey at TCS in 2007 in talent engagement and HR executive roles, where she worked closely with business leaders on HR partnerships, employee engagement initiatives, performance processes, and policy implementation.
