Thoughtworks, a global technology consultancy, has appointed Pradnya Kulkarni as Head of People for its India business.

The company announced her appointment while welcoming her into the leadership team, highlighting her deep expertise across people strategy, culture building, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and leadership development.

Pradnya joins Thoughtworks after most recently serving as Principal – Business Strategy and Operations at Telstra, where she worked closely with senior leadership on strategic and operational priorities.

Over the course of her career, boasting over 2 decades of experience, she has held senior HR and people leadership roles across leading global organisations, including Western Union, UBS, ANZ, and HSBC.

Her professional journey also includes significant experience with Tech Mahindra and KPIT Cummins, giving her exposure to both global financial services and large-scale technology and engineering environments.

With a career spanning multiple industries and geographies, Pradnya is known for her strong focus on inclusive culture, leadership capability building, and aligning people strategy with business outcomes.
