ICICI Bank appoints Soumendra Mattagajasingh as Group CHRO

An Indian multinational bank and financial services company, ICICI Bank has elevated Soumendra Mattagajasingh as Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

His appointment is effective from May 1, 2024, and he replaces T K Srirang, who will take up a new role as Joint Managing Director at ICICI Securities.

Prior to this, mostly recently, Soumendra Mattagajasingh was Head HR – Retail Banking and Practice Head – Employee Relations at the organization and has been associated with ICICI for over 21 years.

An alumnus of Berhampur University Soumendra has over 26 years of experience. Additionally, Before ICICI Bank he was associated with HPCL as Senior Officer. He worked with the organization for over 5 years.
