Giesecke+Devrient Appoints Rohit Mogra as Head – HR

Giesecke+Devrient has named Rohit Mogra as Head of Human Resources, starting March 2026.

Based in Gurugram, he will lead the company’s people strategy in India. His focus will be on improving people practices, building a strong performance culture, and raising overall work standards. He will also work on building a strong customer-first mindset across teams.

Extensive Experience and Background

Rohit brings more than 20 years of HR experience from top global companies. Before joining Giesecke+Devrient, he worked at Deutsche Bank as Global Human Resources Business Partner for Technology Centers and the Corporate Functions Technology Group.

In this role, he managed HR work for technology centers in Germany, the United States, India, and Romania, and worked closely with the global CIO team.

At Deutsche Bank, he also held key roles such as Head HR for the India Technology Team and Pune site. He also led HR for groups like Risk, Asset Management, Compliance, and KYC operations in India. Earlier in his career, he worked at Myntra, where he handled HR for logistics and customer experience, and at Bharti Airtel in several regional HR roles.

Rohit started his career with Bosch and later worked at Genpact, where he built strong skills in employee relations and HR operations.

He holds a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and a PGDBM from the Indo-German Training Centre.
