Hindustan Syringes & Medical Devices Appoints Hem Chandra Tewari as GM – P&A
Hem Chandra Tewari has been appointed as General Manager – Personnel & Administration (P&A) at Hindustan Syringes & Medical Devices Ltd.
Based in Faridabad, he will lead the organisation’s HR functions, overseeing personnel management, compliance, industrial relations, and employee engagement initiatives.
In his new role, he will be responsible for strengthening HR policies, driving workforce planning, and ensuring effective HR operations across the company’s manufacturing and corporate functions. His focus will include enhancing employee relations, supporting organisational growth, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
Extensive Experience
Hem Chandra brings over two decades of experience in human resources, particularly in the manufacturing and industrial sectors. Prior to joining Hindustan Syringes & Medical Devices Ltd., he served as Head HR at Mohan Meakin Limited, where he led HR operations and organisational development initiatives.
Earlier, he worked as General Manager – HR at Kent RO Systems Ltd., contributing to HR strategy and workforce management. He also spent several years with Goodluck India Limited, where he held multiple leadership roles, including General Manager Human Resources, Deputy General Manager, and Assistant General Manager – HR & Administration, managing multi-plant HR operations and driving employee engagement and compliance initiatives.

Over the course of his career, Hem Chandra has also held HR leadership roles at DEE Piping Systems, Jamna Auto Industries Ltd., Shiv‑Vani Oil & Gas Exploration Services Limited, and Focus Energy Ltd.
