Sony Pictures Networks India Transitions CHRO Manu Wadhwa to Strategy Advisor Role

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has announced that Manu Wadhwa will move from her role as Chief Human Resources Officer to Strategy Advisor, starting 1 July 2026.

In her new role, Manu will work closely with the leadership team on key business goals. She will use her deep understanding of the company and her experience to guide important decisions. She has been with SPNI for seven years and has played a major role in shaping its people and culture efforts.

Extensive Experience

As CHRO, Manu helped connect HR work with the company’s overall goals. She led efforts to build strong leaders, update performance systems, and improve reward programs. Her work helped make the company more flexible and quick to respond to change.

She also played an important role during times of change, including leadership shifts and team restructuring. She supported a work culture that values both strong performance and inclusion, helping the company during both growth periods and change.

Before joining SPNI, Manu held senior roles at global companies such as General Electric, American Express, and Coca-Cola. Her global experience has helped shape SPNI’s growth.

Commenting on this move, Gaurav Banerjee, MD & CEO of SPNI, said that Manu has played a key role in the company’s progress over the years and helped build both its structure and culture. He added that her experience will continue to support the company in her new role.

Manu said that her time at SPNI has been very meaningful and that she is thankful for the chance to contribute during a time of change. She added that she looks forward to working with the leadership team on key priorities in her new role.
