Ramoji Film City Appoints Nita Baluni as Vice President – HR

Ramoji Film City appoints Nita Baluni as Vice President – Human Resources, strengthening its leadership team across the films, entertainment, and hospitality businesses.

Based in Hyderabad, in her new role, Nita will lead strategic HR initiatives, talent development, workforce planning, and organisational capability building across Ramoji Film City’s diverse business operations.

She will also oversee HR management systems, employee engagement programs, and leadership development initiatives aimed at supporting the company’s expanding entertainment and hospitality ecosystem.

Extensive Experience

Baluni brings over three decades of experience in human resources leadership, particularly in the hospitality, travel, and service industries.

Prior to joining Ramoji Film City, she served as Vice President – Human Resources at Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited, where she led HR operations and talent strategies across the company’s resort network.

Earlier in her career, she worked as General Manager – Corporate HR at The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, where she played a key role in strengthening HR policies, talent acquisition, and employee development across the hospitality group.

She also served as Area Director of Human Resources at IHG Hotels & Resorts, overseeing HR operations for multiple hotels across North and West–South West Asia.

Her previous roles also include senior HR leadership positions at Avis India, Radisson, and Hyatt Regency, where she contributed to talent management, organisational development, and HR transformation initiatives.

With her extensive experience in hospitality and service-driven organisations, Nita is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening the people strategy and talent ecosystem at Ramoji Film City as it continues to grow its entertainment and tourism operations.
