Google for Developers AI-ML Virtual Internship Opens Across India

A new AI and ML virtual internship is now open for students across India. The program is run by EduSkills Foundation in partnership with Google under the Google for Developers initiative.
Overview
The application window started on April 9, 2026, and will close on April 30, 2026. The internship runs for two months and is focused on building practical skills in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
It does not include a stipend, but students will receive 2 academic credits along with certification and industry exposure.
Program focus
The goal is to support students in gaining hands-on skills in AI and ML, as demand for these skills continues to rise across industries.
Who can apply
Students from BE, B.Tech, ME, M.Tech, MCA, Diploma, and similar programs can apply. Applicants must be from institutions linked with EduSkills. Students from any branch and any academic year are eligible if they can complete the full program.
Registration and structure
Students must register through the AICTE Internship Portal and the EduSkills platform for Google Internship.
The program flow includes:
- One week of initial coursework
- Selection and offer letters for eligible students
- Self-paced learning modules and assessments
- A final project completed over eight weeks with faculty support
Certification
After successful completion, participants will receive:
- Course completion certificate
- Internship certificate from AICTE and EduSkills
The Google Internship also gives students access to hiring-related exposure with global companies, supporting future job prospects in AI and tech fields.
