Knauf India Appoints Pallavi Poddar as Chief Human Resources Officer

Knauf India has appointed Pallavi Poddar as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), starting April 2026, to strengthen leadership.

In her new role, she will lead the company’s people strategy, with a focus on building a strong work culture, improving leadership skills, and supporting business change through modern HR practices.

Extensive Experience and Background

With more than 20 years of experience, Pallavi joins Knauf India from Fenesta Windows, where she worked as CHRO. In that role, she handled company-wide talent plans and worked closely with senior leaders to make the company a preferred workplace.

Before Fenesta, she was Regional HR Director for India, Middle East, and Africa at Ingersoll Rand. There, she led talent plans across regions, worked with global teams, and supported company-wide changes. Her work in leadership development, organization structure, and change management helped improve business results and team performance.

Earlier in her career, she held key HR roles at Schneider Electric and Nestlé. During this time, she gained wide experience in HR partnerships, skill building, and talent development across different regions. She also had a short stint as an entrepreneur with ASESA Talent Partners, where she built a client base and provided hiring solutions.

Pallavi has an MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Center for Management & Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Commerce from Christ Church P.G. College.
