Unilever Appoints Reema Jain as Chief Information Officer

Unilever has elevated Reema Jain as its Chief Information Officer. She took on the role in February 2026 and is based in Bengaluru.

She will lead the company’s global technology strategy, focusing on digital systems, enterprise architecture, and building strong tech capabilities across markets.

Extensive Experience and Background

Reema brings more than 20 years of experience in technology leadership. Before becoming CIO, she was Global Vice President – Digital Technology and Site Lead at Unilever’s Global Capability Center in India.

She led the Technology Foundation and Enterprise Architecture efforts worldwide, strengthening digital platforms and supporting large-scale change.

Earlier, Reema served as Chief Information & Digital Officer at Hero MotoCorp. She led digital change across R&D, supply chain, marketing, and customer engagement. She built the digital team, set up a platform and product-based operating model, and led key programs such as direct-to-customer platforms and digital finance systems.

She also worked as Chief Digital Officer at Vodafone Idea Limited, where she led the company’s shift from a traditional telecom operator to a technology-focused business.

Reema started her career at Mphasis and later spent over ten years at General Electric in various leadership roles.

She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Nagpur University and has completed an Artificial Intelligence program at INSEAD.
