Infosys Appoints Nitin Paranjpe as Non-Executive Vice Chairman

Infosys has appointed Nitin Paranjpe as Non-Executive Vice Chairman. The appointment was approved on April 30, 2026, by the Board of Directors, the company said in official statement.

He will work closely with Chairman Nandan Nilekani to guide the company’s direction.

“We are delighted to have Nitin in this position. His expertise has already made a significant impact on the Board, and we look forward to his continued leadership in this expanded role,” the company said.

Infosys Chairman Nandan Nilekani reiterated continuity at the top, stating, “I will continue as the Chairman of the Board as long as necessary, and there is no plan for a chairman transition.”

Global Experience at the Board Level

Nitin is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Hindustan Unilever and Non-Executive Vice Chairman of Heineken NV. He spent 37 years at Unilever in senior roles across markets.

He served as Chief People and Transformation Officer, where he led talent and change programs. Before that, as Chief Operating Officer, he focused on growth, performance, and building a faster business. He also led global Foods and Refreshment, managing major brands such as Knorr and Lipton, and handled key acquisitions.

Earlier, Nitin was President of Homecare and a member of the Unilever Leadership Executive. In India, he served as CEO of Hindustan Unilever and EVP for South Asia. He started his career in sales and brand roles and grew into global leadership positions.
