JPMorgan Chase has announced the elevation of Shruti Tewari as its new Executive Director – HR and Employee Experience, effective January 2025.

This promotion marks a significant milestone in Shruti’s career and highlights her contributions to the company’s HR initiatives.

Shruti’s expertise lies in HR transformation and change management, HCM technologies, operating model and organization design, HR shared services design and implementation, performance and rewards management, and leadership capability building.

Her contributions have been instrumental in driving digital transformation and employee engagement initiatives at JPMorgan Chase.

Role at JPMorgan Chase

As Executive Director – HR and Employee Experience, Shruti will lead strategic initiatives to enhance the employee experience.

She will also drive talent management strategies and oversee HR functions.

Her focus will be on fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. She will also ensure seamless talent integration and promote diversity and inclusion.

In a LinkedIn post announcing her new role, Shruti expressed her excitement and gratitude for the opportunity, stating, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Executive Director – HR and Employee Experience at JPMorgan Chase! Extremely grateful and excited for times ahead.”

Background and Career Journey

Shruti Tewari’s association with JPMorgan Chase began in 2022 when she joined the company as Vice President – HR, Employee Digital and Service Experience.

Over the years, she has held several critical roles. These include Global Lead for Cohort Program Management and India Lead for Cohort Program Management.

Her responsibilities have included overseeing placements, onboarding, orientation, and acclimation efforts for the company’s cohort hiring across the US and India.

Before joining JPMorgan Chase, Shruti worked with organizations such as Darwinbox and EY.

She gained extensive experience across various sectors, including banking and financial services, information technology, metals/mining, steel & power, FMCG & retail, telecom, airlines, education, and oil & gas.

She began her HR career with Aditya Birla Group as an HR intern in 2009 and later worked as an Associate Software Engineer at IBM India.
