L&T Appoints Reena Vijayanand as Head – Talent Acquisition

Larsen & Toubro (L&T), a major Indian multinational conglomerate involved in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects, hi-tech manufacturing, and services, has appointed Reena Vijayanand as Head – Talent Acquisition.

In her new role, Reena will lead L&T’s hiring approach. Her focus will be on building strong leadership and workforce skills to support long-term business goals. She will oversee senior hiring, employer brand efforts, and the alignment of talent plans with business needs across regions.

Extensive Experience

Reena has more than 25 years of experience in human resources. She has worked across people strategy, culture change, and full-scope HR operations. Her background spans data centers, construction, technology, telecom, and consumer electronics, giving her broad experience in managing teams in fast-changing settings.

She has led HR teams for over 12,000 employees across India, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Sri Lanka. In these roles, she worked closely with business leaders on large workforce change programs and skill-building efforts.

Before joining L&T, Reena was Chief Human Resources Officer at AdaniConneX, where she helped shape the company’s people and culture plans. Earlier, she worked at Samsung India as Regional HR – South, supporting talent and organization programs in a highly competitive market.

Her earlier roles include leadership positions at CCS Corp, TeamLease, Cybernet, and Mafoi. These roles helped her build strong skills in talent management, staffing, and HR consulting.
