Vedanta Group has appointed Neha Sharma as its new Group Chief Human Resources Officer, effective 10 February 2026.

The company said the board approved her appointment at its meeting on 29 January 2026. She has also been named Senior Management Personnel.

Neha will replace Madhu Srivastava, who has resigned and will step down at the close of business on 31 January 2026.

Madhu spent more than thirteen years with Vedanta, including seven years as Group CHRO, and played a major role in shaping the company’s people policies.

Extenstive Experience

Neha brings over 20 years of human resources experience across India, the United States, and Mexico.

Before joining Vedanta Group, she was Head of HR at Unifi Aviation, where she led people operations for more than 40,000 employees across over 250 airport locations in the US, Canada, and Europe.

She has also held senior HR roles at Infosys, TSYS, and Rippling. Neha holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Vedanta said her background in people strategy, HR systems, and shared services will support its focus on culture, talent growth, and leadership across its global businesses.
