KPMG India Deputy CEO Akhil Bansal Passes Away

Akhil Bansal who was working with KPMG India as Deputy Chief Executive Officer passes away.
Today, Arun Kumar, Chairman, and CEO of KPMG India has confirmed the demise on social media. He said “It is with profound sorrow that I share the news of the tragic passing of Akhil Bansal, our Deputy CEO. All of us in the KPMG family, in India and around the world, are in shock.”
“We remember Akhil’s contributions, in diverse important roles over the years, to shaping the firm we are today and the warmth of his friendship. RIP, Akhil. Om Shanti.” he added.
Akhilesh was a veteran with more than two decades with the KPMG, he has served on a number of leadership and client service roles including Country Head of Assurance and Chief Operations Officer (COO). As Deputy CEO, he was overseeing the Firm’s businesses and strategy implementation.
