Graphite India Appoints Dhaval Morparia as SVP & CHRO

Graphite India Limited has appointed Dhaval Morparia as its Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

In his new role, he will lead Graphite India’s talent and culture agenda, focusing on talent management, leadership development, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, industrial relations, and building a strong workforce to support business growth.

Extensive Experience

He brings close to two decades of experience across manufacturing, automotive, media, technology, and consulting. Before joining Graphite India, Dhaval was Head- HR, Livguard Drivetrain, where he led HR, industrial relations, and compliance for the business.

He worked closely with the CEO to bring multiple businesses under the “One Livguard Drivetrain” initiative and supported the company’s expansion by helping set up three new plants for the lithium and drivetrain business.

Earlier, Dhaval spent four years with Tata Play as General Manager – Human Resources, leading several HR centres of excellence. During this period, he worked on strengthening the company’s performance culture, introduced long-term incentive programs for senior leaders, and led several HR automation initiatives.

Before Tata Play, Dhaval held HR leadership roles at Suzuki Motor Gujarat, Cerebrus Consultants, Infosys, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, and Ashok Leyland. His experience covers workforce planning, compensation, change management, HR technology, talent development, and setting up HR systems for new businesses.

Dhaval holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Institute of Management, Nirma University.
