Honeywell Appoints Deepti Vij Verma as Senior Director – HR

Honeywell has elevated Deepti Vij Verma to the position of Senior Director – HR for India, ASEAN, and East Asia.

In her new role, she will lead the people strategy for Honeywell Building Automation, focusing on enhancing employee experience, talent development, and organizational effectiveness across the region.

Extensive Experience

Deepti has been with Honeywell for nearly six years, holding several leadership roles in human resources and talent acquisition.

Most recently, she served as Regional Head – Talent Acquisition, where she led the end-to-end hiring strategy across 13 countries spanning India, China, and the Asia-Pacific region. During this period, she partnered closely with business leaders, reorganized multicultural recruitment teams, and introduced cost-efficient hiring practices to support business growth.

Earlier, as Director – Talent Acquisition for Honeywell India, she played a key role in scaling recruitment during and after the pandemic. She also led diversity-focused initiatives, including Restart Her and Lead Hers, to improve gender representation, while strengthening the company’s university hiring and employer branding strategy.

Before joining Honeywell in 2020, Deepti spent seven years at EY, where she held HR leadership roles supporting strategy, transactions, organizational transformation, and talent management. Prior to that, she worked for more than seven years at Bank of America, managing talent initiatives across multiple business functions.

With over two decades of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, and organizational development, Deepti holds an MBA in Human Resources and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Delhi.
