EPFO: Do you know what Annexure K is and its importance?

Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation decided to make available online ‘Annexure-K’, a document that contains details of accounts to new employers.

According to a circular issued by EPFO, ‘Annexure -K’ will be provided online to private PF trusts to expedite the transfer of PF accounts. This document is required by the field office/Trust to effect a transfer of the PF.

Annexure K is an EPF document issued to the EPF members whenever they transfer their PF amount from exempted to the unexempted establishment (or) unexempted to the exempted establishment.

Annexure K consists of the following details:

• PF accumulations details with interest
• Service history of employee
• Date of Joining and Date of Exit
• Employment Details including past and present MID

Annexure K is an EPF document issued by EPFO India to the EPF members whenever their PF transfer claim gets settled successfully.

EPF members will get their Annexure K whenever they raise a PF Transfer request from Unexempted to the exempted establishment or Exempted to the Unexempted establishment.

The EPFO members must note that certain EPFO-related services are available on the UMANG app. Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation has also been informed to be “ALERT Beware of Fraudsters!” to alert members to the danger they may be facing.
