Adani Energy Solutions Appoints Pramath Nath as Chief People Officer

Adani Energy Solutions Limited appoints Pramath Nath as its Chief People Officer (CPO), effective from July 1, 2026

He succeeds Samir Prakash and will lead the company’s people strategy, including talent, leadership development, employee engagement, and HR operations.

Extensive Experience

Pramath has been associated with Adani Group since October 2022, when he joined as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Adani Green Energy. During his time with the company, he has led several HR initiatives as the renewable energy company continued to grow.

Before joining Adani Green Energy, he worked at GE Power, where he served as CHRO for Asia Pacific and India, Steam Power. His role covered 15 countries across Asia Pacific and Japan. Along with HR, Pramath also looked after corporate social responsibility (CSR) and facilities for India. Earlier, he was HR and CSR Leader for South Asia at GE Power.

Before GE, Pramath spent nearly seven years at KPMG India. He was Executive Director and earlier Director-Human Resources, leading HR for the firm’s Advisory business. He also worked on people and business transformation projects for KPMG’s Global Delivery Center.

Earlier in his career, Pramath held several HR leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard (HP). He worked as Global Talent Manager for senior executives and later as HR Business Partner for Asia Pacific and Japan, supporting business leaders across the region. He also headed HR for one of HP’s India centres and was part of the HR integration after HP acquired EDS.

Pramath began his career in industrial relations and HR with Blue Cross Labs Ltd. and the Cosme Mathias Menezes Group. He later worked with The Oberoi, Bangalore, before joining Reliance Retail, where he helped build the company’s workforce during its early expansion in Karnataka.
