Airbus Appoints Netra Gowda as Vice President- HR Transformation, Digital & AI

Airbus has appointed Netra Gowda as Vice President, HR Transformation, Digital & AI, bringing her back to the aerospace company after senior roles at Stellantis recently.

In her new role, Netra will focus on HR transformation, digital initiatives and AI, helping connect people processes with the company’s wider technology agenda and changing workforce needs across the organisation and its global operations.
Extensive Experience
Netra Gowda joins Airbus from Stellantis, where she served as Vice President of Strategy, Planning and Portfolio for about three years. Her role involved strategy, planning and portfolio responsibilities within the global automotive company.
Before Stellantis, she spent more than four years with Airbus Defence and Space as Head of Advanced Analytics, AI & Cloud Acceleration. She worked on areas covering advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and cloud technologies.

Netra previously spent more than a decade with Airbus in several roles, including Chief of Staff to the Digital Transformation Officer, Head of Culture Change for Digital Transformation, Corporate Innovation Manager and Group Strategy & Analysis Manager.
She began her Airbus career as an Employment Marketing Manager with Airbus Defence and Space.
Earlier, Netra worked at Intel as Strategic Marketing Manager for around a year. She started her career at DaimlerChrysler as a Research and Development Engineer, gaining experience in the automotive and technology sectors.
Netra holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University and an MBA from Hochschule Esslingen – University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
