Cigna Healthcare Appoints Anisha Vaz as Head- HR, India

Cigna Healthcare, a global health services company has appointed Anisha Vaz as Head – Human Resources for India.

She assumed the role in April 2026 and will lead the company’s HR strategy, talent management, employee engagement, and people initiatives across the country.

Extensive Experience

Anisha brings nearly two decades of experience in human resources, talent strategy, and business partnering across sectors, including healthcare, technology, and engineering services.

Prior to joining Cigna Healthcare, she spent more than eight years with Walmart Global Tech India, where she held several leadership positions in the people function.

At Walmart Global Tech India, Anisha most recently served as Senior Manager – People from May 2021 to March 2026. Before that, she worked as Manager – People and Associate Manager – People, handling employee engagement, talent management, and HR operations.

Her tenure focused on building people-centric HR practices, strengthening employee connect initiatives, and supporting leadership teams on workforce planning and performance management.

Earlier in her career, Anisha worked with Robert Bosch Engineering & Business Solutions as Deputy Manager – HR. In the role, she partnered with business leaders on employee engagement, retention strategies, compensation initiatives, and talent acquisition programs.

She also spent over five years with Syniverse Technologies as Lead HR, where she played a key role in succession planning, leadership hiring, high-performer development programs, and recruitment operations.

She began her professional journey with Cisco Systems through Spectrum Consultants as an Account Manager.

Anisha holds a B.Com degree from Mangalore University and completed her schooling at Indian School Muscat.
