IG Petrochemicals Appoints Pramod Sanap as Chief HR Officer

IG Petrochemicals Limited, a leading Indian specialty chemicals company, has appointed Pramod Sanap as its Chief Human Resources Officer.

Based in Mumbai, he assumed the role in April 2026 and will lead the company’s people and industrial relations strategy as it continues to strengthen its manufacturing and business operations.

Extenvise Experience

Pramod brings close to two decades of experience across human resources, employee relations, industrial relations, talent management, and culture transformation in leading manufacturing and consumer companies.

Before joining IG Petrochemicals, he served at Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd. for over seven years, most recently as Senior Vice President – HR & ER. During his tenure, he led HR transformation initiatives across the integrated supply chain organization, focusing on people processes, automation, succession planning, employee engagement, and union management.

Earlier, Pramod worked with DIAGEO India as Plant HR Head and HR Business Partner for its Nasik operations, where he managed HR for multiple business units and played a key role in driving cultural transformation and employee relations stability at one of the company’s strategic manufacturing sites.

He has also held HR leadership positions at AkzoNobel India Limited, managing both greenfield and large-scale manufacturing operations across Hyderabad and Gwalior. He started his professional journey with Hindustan Unilever Limited as an HR Executive after joining through campus recruitment.

Pramod holds a Master’s Degree in Labour Studies (HR & IR) from Mumbai University.
