Citi India Appoints Sumeet Dubey as Vice President- Human Resources

Citi India, a leading global banking and financial services company, has appointed Sumeet Dubey as Vice President – Human Resources

In his new role, Sumeet will work on people priorities, including HR business partnering, talent management, employee experience, performance management and organisational development, supporting employees and business teams at the financial services company in India.

Extensive Experience

Sumeet brings more than 14 years of HR experience across financial services, fintech, technology and industrial businesses.

Before joining Citi India, he was HRBP Leader at Yubi for about one year, where he worked on HR business partnering and people management in the fintech sector.

Before Yubi, Sumeet spent nearly four years at HighRadius, serving as Senior Manager – People & Culture and Employee Experience Partner.

He supported around 1,200 employees and worked across Consulting, Treasury and R2R functions. His responsibilities included organisational restructuring, return-to-office initiatives, performance management, employee relations, policy development and POSH compliance.

He also reported a 7% reduction in top-talent attrition and a 45-basis-point improvement in Client NPS.

Earlier, Sumeet spent over four years at SBI Card in HR roles, including Senior Manager and Manager – Human Resources.

He also worked at Videocon Industries in talent management, Vijay Engineering and Machinery Company in HR, Gratitude India in recruitment and client servicing, and Reliance Heavy Industries in L&D.

Sumeet holds an MBA in HR from ITM Group of Institutions and completed a Talent Management certification from XLRI Jamshedpur in 2021.
