Everest Industries Appoints Dr. Ujjal Bhattacharjee as CHRO

Everest Industries has appointed Dr. Ujjal Bhattacharjee as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective July 16, 2026.

In this new role, he will further strengthen Everest Industries’ people and culture agenda as it continues to focus on organizational growth and talent development.

Extensive Experience

Dr. Ujjal Bhattacharjee brings more than 25 years of human resources experience across the manufacturing, engineering, healthcare, and industrial sectors.

Before joining Everest Industries, he spent nearly seven years with Vesuvius, where he served as Human Resources Director for Foundry India & Southeast Asia.

During this period, he also held additional leadership responsibilities as Director of Vesuvius IT & Shared Services Pvt. Ltd., Director of Foseco International (Thailand) Ltd., and President Commissioner of PT. Foseco Indonesia, giving him extensive exposure to leading people strategies across multiple geographies and business functions.

Earlier, Dr. Bhattacharjee spent nine years with GKN plc in several senior HR leadership roles, including Human Resources Director India, Human Resources Director India & South Africa, and Human Resources Director, VP Operations & Managing Director.

Prior to that, he served as Vice President – Human Resources India at Fresenius Kabi, where he played a key role in strengthening HR practices and supporting business growth.

Academically, Dr. Bhattacharjee holds a Ph.D. in Management, a Master of Personnel Management, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry.

He also completed the ISB-Kellogg Global Advanced Management Program and holds internationally recognized certifications in leadership assessment and organizational development.
