HDFC Pension Appoints Hetal Javeri-Nandu as Chief HR Officer

HDFC Pension Management Company Limited has appointed Hetal Javeri-Nandu as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Based in Mumbai, in her new role, Javeri-Nandu will oversee the people strategy, talent development, employee engagement, leadership capability, and organisational culture to support the company’s long-term growth.

Extensive Experience

Prior to HDFC Pension, she was serving as Vice President – Human Resources at HDFC Life, where she partnered with the HDFC Bank relationship business and led a team of HR Business Partners. During her nearly three-year tenure, she focused on aligning HR strategy with business priorities and strengthening talent management across the organisation.

Before HDFC Life, Javeri-Nandu spent over a decade at SBI General Insurance, where she held several leadership positions across corporate HR and business HR. As Head – Business HR, she led HR business partnering and talent acquisition while driving employee engagement and rewards and recognition initiatives.

Earlier, she headed Corporate HR, leading key centres of excellence covering performance management, compensation and benefits, talent management, HR policies, employee engagement, HR analytics, and rewards.

She also played an important role in designing the company’s behavioural competency framework and implementing its HRMS platform during her earlier HR leadership roles.

Javeri-Nandu holds a Master of Management Studies (MMS) in Human Resources from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management and Research and a Bachelor of Commerce from HR College, Mumbai University.
